Rent or Charter a boat with SAIL NYC boat rental and get a sightseeing tour of the spectacular New York Harbor. SAIL NYC is the UBER of sailing since 2014, our yachts are privately owned and your Captain is the owner. You and your guests can sip a glass of wine and enjoy the sail OR participate as crew and hoist the sails and take the helm (drive) on our sailboats as we sail to the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan Skyline. Our Skippered boat charter includes a USCG Licensed Captain for a unique experince sailing in NYC, the most exciting place on earth! I want to learn to sail

Rent a yacht from SAIL NYC for a great introduction to sailing, Our Captains are certified ASA Sailing Instructors and will put you at the helm and teach you how to sail with a mini sailing lesson.

Can we bring our own food and liquor?

You can bring your own beer or wine because we do not sell liquor. And you can bring food. Your charter includes soft drinks, plates, cups, ice depending on the boat you reserve.

Can I rent a boat without a Captain?

No bareboat charter with us or any boat charter company in the NY Harbor due to licensing and insurance requirements!

What type of clothing?

Please wear boat shoes or sneakers and bring a jacket. If you wear crazy high heels we may ask you to take off your shoes if you want to walk on the bow of the boat.

What is the age limit?

Different age limit per boat but we will not consider anyone under 5 years old. Passengers must also be able bodied, agile, and careful. Each boat has special considerations for passengers, call us to discuss your situation.
